Since I am made in the likeness of God, I should get some ideas of how to be involved in a healthy love relationship by learning from HOW He loves me.

God is FULLY PRESENT. He listens attentively all the time, every moment, day and night. I never have to beg for His attention.

So – my response is TO PRACTICE HIS PRESENCE. Speak outside or inside words (He hears both). Reflect on Jeremiah 29:3, Proverbs 8:17, Hebrews 10:19-22, Psalms 16:1,27:4,29:18.

God REVEALS Himself. Everywhere I look, every smell, every taste, every touch is God showing Himself as the great artist, engineer, and creator from nothing to everything.

God also REVEALS Himself in ways creation falls short. He uses words through historians, prophets, and poets, and His most complete revelation was Jesus coming to live among us.

So- my response is to wonder slowly in His world and soak in the Bible’s revelation of Jesus. Reflect on Revelation 4:11, Romans 1, Hebrews 1.

God builds a personal and intimate relationship filled with GRACE AND TRUTH. These two boundless love languages enter my life as forgiveness, erasing shame, restoring honor, filled with mercy, and loving me enough to always tell me the truth.

So – my response is to be open, invite Him to eat with me, and to run to him with my hunger and thirst of my soul. Reflect on Revelation 3:20, Matthew 11:29, Philippians 1:21, Hebrews 4:16.

God GIVES, and gives sacrificially. His love never ends, and the sacrifice is never exhausted.

So – I RECEIVE WITH GRATITUDE. I am in a constant posture of lifting my hands in thanks. Reflect on John 14-15, Matthew 28:18-20, Psalm 59:16-17.
